About the Project
The Encore at the Carolina Theatre project consists of 3 parties.

Non-Profit: Carolina Theatre Preservation
The Developer will create the Encore condominium project consisting of 20 expansive units with exquisite interiors, and a 2 or 4 car garage attached to each residence. Each 3,000 or 6,300 sq. ft condominium is highlighted by all encompassing views of Uptown. Even if your residence is situated on the top floor of Encore, your garage, and thus your car are right there with you. This is the first parking system of its kind in the U.S. delivering an owner and his/her vehicle to their residence in less than one minute. Ark Management will manage the theatre and bring in world class entertainment to the theatre once again. Live music, movies, plays, charitable events, and tours will be some of the happenings at the theatre.
Carolina Theatre Preservation Society will be responsible for putting most of the ornamental plaster back in, installing a theatre organ, restoring the stenciling, recreating the murals, installing the chandeliers, placing period furniture, etc. CTPS will be holding fundraisers in the theatre to eventually raise enough money to exercise an option to purchase the theatre in the future.
